It\r\npresents a strong recommendation for testing, standardization, and\r\nwidespread deployment of active queue management (AQM) in network\r\ndevices to improve the performance of today's Internet. It also\r\nurges a concerted effort of research, measurement, and ultimate\r\ndeployment of AQM mechanisms to protect the Internet from flows that\r\nare not sufficiently responsive to congestion notification.\r\n\r\nBased on 15 years of experience and new research, this document\r\nreplaces the recommendations of RFC 2309.","pub_date":"July 2015","keywords":[],"obsoletes":["RFC2309"],"obsoleted_by":[],"updates":[],"updated_by":[],"see_also":["BCP0197"],"doi":"10.17487\/RFC7567","errata_url":"https:\/\/www.rfc-editor.org\/errata\/rfc7567"}
