Taylor"],"format":["ASCII","HTML"],"page_count":"99","pub_status":"PROPOSED STANDARD","status":"PROPOSED STANDARD","source":"Access Node Control Protocol","abstract":"This document specifies the extensions to the Access Node Control\r\nProtocol (ANCP) (RFC 6320) required for support of the multicast use\r\ncases defined in the Access Node Control Protocol framework document\r\n(RFC 5851) and one additional use case described in this document.\r\nThese use cases are organized into the following ANCP capabilities:\r\n\r\no multicast replication initiated by the Network Access Server\r\n(NAS);\r\n\r\no conditional access and admission control with white and black\r\nlists;\r\n\r\no conditional access and admission control with grey lists;\r\n\r\no bandwidth delegation; and\r\n\r\no committed bandwidth reporting.\r\n\r\nThese capabilities may be combined according to the rules given in\r\nthis specification.\r\n\r\nThis document updates RFC 6320 by assigning capability type 3 to a\r\ncapability specified in this document and by changing the starting\r\npoint for IANA allocation of result codes determined by IETF\r\nConsensus from 0x100 to 0x64.","pub_date":"July 2014","keywords":[],"obsoletes":[],"obsoleted_by":[],"updates":["RFC6320"],"updated_by":[],"see_also":[],"doi":"10.17487\/RFC7256","errata_url":null}
