The proposed attribute, the \"altc\" attribute, solves the\r\nbackward-compatibility problem that plagued Alternative Network\r\nAddress Types (ANAT) due to their syntax.\r\n\r\nThe proposed solution is applicable to scenarios where connectivity\r\nchecks are not required.
